In The Box

I love trying new things, so I thought why not try out one of these sample boxes that you receive every month with full size and sample products for you to try.  I decided to start with Birchbox because after reviewing some of their past boxes I noticed that they give samples from different countries and I was instantly sold.  Everyone gets different products so my box may be different from someone who may be reading this.  The picture below shows the contents of my June Box entitled Jet Set:
TheBalm Cosmetics Stainiac in Beauty Queen
A two-in-one lip and cheek stain gives a natural flush or layer it for a dramatic pop of color.  Swipe onto lips like a lip gloss (I found you still had to add a sheer gloss on top).  If you would like to use as a cheek stain, smile and dab two or three dots right onto the apples of your cheek.  Then gently blend the pigment using small circular motions.  The retail price is $17.00

Luna Chocolate Peppermint Bar
One word...Delicious!  First, off I love anything that's healthy AND taste good.  These Luna bars are under 200 calories and is filled with nutrients that our body needs, including calcium, folic acid, iron and vitamin D.  It's a blend of dark chocolate and candy cane peppermint.  Comes in a box of 15 bars for $18.75.

Eyeko Fat Eye Stick
Let me tell you that I'm pretty much obsessed with anything and anyone from UK right now.  I might be just really ready to travel but to me people form UK have some of the best blogs that I have read lately when it comes to fashion.  So you can only imagine how excited I was when I puled out this eye stick and noticed it was from the UK.  This limited edition color can only be bought in the US via Birchbox.  You can use this as a thick liner, or smudge to create a shadow.  The color goes on opaque but blends easily for a sheer look so creating a smoke eye is quite easy.  The retail price is $15.00

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream
This is the bestselling cream in Japan.  I love this cream because it can be used for multi purposes.  It helps with head-to-toe dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet.  It's an all natural formula, free of artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. You can even use it on infants and kids because it's so safe.  The only dislike I had was that when you first put the cream on it had a medicated smell but it eventually faded once the cream absorbed into my skin.  It retails at $16.00

Borghese Bagno di Vita Body Soak
I just started working out and I went to this fitness class called "Booty Beat", needless to say I was very sore following.  I decided to try this soak since it's suppose to relieve stress and muscle tension.  First, the smell is wonderful.  It has a blend of minerals and salts which restores moisture to the skin.  I felt better afterwards.  Not sure if it was just the hot water, great relaxing smell and bubbles that actual made me feel better for the moment because I remained sore for 4 days after (it has got to be a better way)!  It retails at $35.00
